Description du poste

Dès le début de votre aventure avec nous, vous serez appelé(e) à :

• Travailler en collaboration avec le Directeur artistique pour assurer la qualité des éléments de l'IU du projet et veiller à ce qu'elle respecte l'identité visuelle établie
• Travailler en collaboration avec l'équipe Design pour définir les besoins en IU tout en contribuant à l'expérience utilisateur
• Maintenir la charte graphique et l'identité visuelle du jeu à travers la production d'éléments IU (statiques ou dynamiques) pour les menus/le HUD, et assurer la production d'une iconographie claire et homogène
• Produire une interface optimale répondant aux contraintes en EU pour chaque plateforme cible
• Réviser les éléments de l'IU une fois intégrés dans le jeu et fournir des retours constructifs aux programmeurs IU pour s'assurer de répondre aux standards de qualité
• Soutenir les équipes Marketing et Acquisition afin d'assurer une cohérence graphique sur tous les supports

Job Description

From the beginning of your adventure with us, you will be tasked with:

• Working closely with the Art Director to ensure the quality of the project's UI elements while respecting the game’s established visual identity
• Working with the Design team to define UI requirements while supporting the user experience
• Maintaining the UI style guide and ensuring it is respected during the creation of static or animated UI assets for the menus and HUD, and ensuring the production of clear and consistent iconography
• Producing optimal interfaces within the UX constraints for each targeted platform
• Reviewing UI elements once they're integrated into the game and providing constructive feedback to the UI programmers to ensure quality standards are met
• Supporting the Marketing and Acquisition teams in order to ensure graphical consistency on all platforms

Expérience et compétences recherchées :

• Diplôme d'études collégiales en graphisme ou dans un domaine connexe ou équivalent
• Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en tant qu'artiste IU
• Avoir travaillé sur au moins 2 titres publiés
• Connaissances approfondies d'Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Microsoft Visio, Adobe InDesign, Balsamiq, Figma (ou équivalent)
• Connaissances approfondies du design d'interface utilisateur et des contraintes multiplateformes, de l'architecture de l'information et de la production de « wireframes » et de « UI Flows »
• Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite
• Être axé(e) sur l'atteinte de résultats supérieurs et avoir un bon esprit d'équipe
• Avoir un esprit d'analyse et de synthèse
• Être capable de s'adapter aux changements tout en respectant les délais convenus

Atouts :

• Connaissance des métiers reliés à la production de jeux vidéo
• Connaissance de logiciels de production 3D et de motion design
• Connaissance d'Unity et/ou d'Unreal Engine

Experience and Qualifications:

• Diploma of college studies in graphic design, a related field, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a UI artist
• Have worked on at least 2 published titles
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Microsoft Visio, Adobe InDesign, Balsamiq, and Figma (or equivalent)
• In-depth knowledge of user-interface design and cross-platform constraints, information architecture and the production of wireframes and UI flows
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
• Committed to achieving superior results and is a strong team player
• Analytical and deductive skills
• Able to adapt to change and meet deadlines

Assets:

• Knowledge of the video-game production process
• Knowledge of 3D and motion-design production software
• Knowledge of Unity and/or Unreal Engine
