Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Legal Assistant Manager specialising in arbitration at our construction and infrastructure company in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of arbitration proceedings. Your role will be pivotal in safeguarding the company's interests, ensuring legal compliance, and representing the organisation effectively in arbitration matters. Key duties include:
1. Arbitration Management:
- Handle all arbitration-related activities, including case preparation, documentation, and strategy development.
- Represent the company in arbitration hearings, presenting evidence, and arguing cases effectively.
2. Legal Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth legal research on arbitration laws, precedents, and relevant case studies.
- Provide insightful legal analysis and recommendations to support arbitration strategies.
3. Documentation and Case Preparation:
- Prepare comprehensive legal documents, including statements of claim, defence, counterclaims, and legal briefs for arbitration cases.
- Ensure all necessary documents are accurately prepared, reviewed, and filed within specified deadlines.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and experts to gather necessary information and evidence for arbitration cases.
- Coordinate with external legal partners, ensuring seamless communication and effective collaboration on arbitration matters.
5. Dispute Resolution:
- Explore alternative dispute resolution methods and negotiate settlements when applicable, aiming for favourable outcomes for the company.
6. Compliance and Legal Support:
- Ensure compliance with all arbitration laws, rules, and regulations.
- Provide legal support to other departments within the company, offering guidance on legal matters related to arbitration.
Qualifications
- LLB/LLM from a reputable institution.
- At least 5-6 years of relevant work experience

- Sound knowledge of arbitration laws, procedures, and precedents.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
