Job Description

The HR Coordinator - Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the 3 divisions that make up GL group. This will be achieved through the development recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent that align with our overall vision of being the best place to work in America.The HR Coordinator - Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the 3 divisions that make up GL group. Qualifications

  • Executes sourcing and recruitment strategies for individual positions to include connecting with and sourcing talent through numerous channels including social media and databases.
  • Works with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings and on creating job descriptions.
  • Leads the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
  • Conducts or participates in recruiting planning meetings, resume screening, phone interviews, consensus meetings, and interview set-up and offer process.
  • Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Posts openings online with various job boards, professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
  • Communicates with hiring managers & candidates frequently to relay status of searches, candidate progress, etc.
  • Ensures EEOC requirements are met by the recruiting process through a thorough understanding of employment law and regulations.
  • Participates in project work and assignments as required.
  • Maintain and continue to develop employer brand presence through Public Relations & Recognition:
    • Utilizes and improves company website recruiting page.
    • Researches and applies for appropriate awards and recognition for company.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field.

  • 3-5 years’ experience handling full life cycle recruiting.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills a must.

  • Efficient knowledge within the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience finding, communicating, and attracting passive candidates.
