Job Description

Project implementation

  • Providing assistance to our European clients during their working hours
  • Preparing for and conducting trainings for clients remotely, and on-site
  • Participating in specifications meetings remotely, and in-person with clients

Project development

  • Preparing data and configuring applications according to test objectives and client requirements
  • Ensuring algorithms work with the available data
  • Reproducing and analyzing the client’s current situation. Calibrating algorithms and producing solutions that demonstrate significant savings, where appropriate

Supporting the sales team

  • Supporting certain sales initiatives, including demonstrations of customizations with client-specific data
  • Participating in the promotion and sale of GIRO products and services through meetings, presentations and demonstrations

Testing, analysis, and calibrating algorithms 

  • On the basis of specifications, presenting analysis documents proposing functional solutions
  • Configuring, modifying, testing, and documenting certain developments
  • Calibrating algorithms to meet client requirements
  • Reproducing and analyzing the client’s current situation. Proposing new solutions
  • Designing and executing software tests
  • Planning and scheduling tasks within the scope of your role. Monitoring work to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Understanding new tools to optimize on-site use for clients

Qualifications

  • University education in mathematics, computer science, engineering, or any related fields;
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in object-oriented programming (C++) (An asset);
  • Experience in the public transport field (An asset);
  • Mastery of spoken and written English, level B2 or higher;
  • Mastery of spoken and written Germany, level B2 or higher;
  • Understanding of French (An asset);
  • Available for regular travel in Europe and occasionally to Canada;
  • Client-oriented, highly versatile and adaptable;
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills;
  • Takes initiative and has superior autonomy and attention to detail.

Additional Information

The position is in Germany for full-time remote work. We are looking for someone who is located in Berlin or Hamburg to facilitate collaboration with other team members.
