Job Description

The DevOps Team is responsible for developing and maintaining multiple tools and systems to optimize the development workflow (IDE, source code management, build, etc.) and automate the delivery and continuous deployment processes. The team is also in charge of the development of our customers' cloud hosting solution (Azure).

You will be part of a curious, and ambitious team that likes to push its limits. We advocate teamwork while incorporating Agile/SCRUM methodologies and creative madness.

GIRO is undertaking a DevOps transformation.  As a Developer, you will contribute to designing and implementing automation tools in a "Cloud First" Strategy and act as a technology change expert. This shift is an opportunity to take on large-scale challenges, design innovative solutions and directly impact the business.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Manage and improve internal development tools (TFS, GIT)
  • Support Linux and Windows environments
  • Perform system and network administration
  • Implementing design patterns
  • Automation (on the cloud and internally - Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Migration to the cloud
  • Optimization of cloud resource usage with metrics, auto-elasticity, resiliency, native cloud services, etc.
  • Delivery of our new containerized application (Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, etc.)

Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering, or other appropriate disciplines or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of C#, Python, Ruby, Terraform programming and the .net environment
  • Proficiency with Windows Administration and Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of the administration of Azure environments (Availability zone, NSG, ASG, Firewall, network, Active Directory, secure connection to resources, management of IP addresses and routing table)
  • Good knowledge of SQL database
