Job Description

Working within the Documentation and Client Training Team, you will be responsible for coordinating the publication of technical and project management documents, responding to inquiries from other teams and contributing to the review of documents produced to ensure quality.

You will also take part in stimulating projects aimed at standardizing and optimizing processes within the team, while performing your regular duties. In close collaboration with other team members, you will oversee the transition to an internal help desk tool to simplify the follow-up of requests from other teams. You will contribute to improving the team's intranet site through Sharepoint to improve access to information and share the progress of the team's projects.

Responsibilities

  • Apply Employer branding to various existing Word and PowerPoint documents.
  • Coordinate the publication of user guides and templates by following up with the appropriate experts.
  • Ensure linguistic quality of documents published in both official languages by performing a grammatical review before publication.
  • Maintain and improve the team's Intranet site, including document publication libraries, to promote the sharing of information within the company.
  • Respond to email inquiries from other departments within the company.
  • Proofread documents written by the team and correct grammatical or formatting errors.
  • Import existing user guides into our current authoring tool, MadCap Flare.

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma in bureaucracy, administration, or any other appropriate discipline
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with a document management system such as SharePoint
  • Proficiency in French and English for reviewing and writing documents
  • Communication skills, discipline, and a strong sense of organization
  • Creativity, multi-tasking skills and ability to manage several files simultaneously while respecting deadlines

Assets

  • Experience with a writing tool such as Adobe FrameMaker or MadCap Flare
  • Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML
