Job Description

Your main responsibilities:
•    Participate actively in designing or improving the practices, processes and tools around total compensation (salary structures, working conditions, annual salary-review process, etc.) that encourage employees to join and stay with the company
•    Act as an advisor within the organization on compensation, including the international component
•    Participate in the total compensation team’s special projects, including implementing a new HRIS and optimizing processes
•    Ensure the company’s compliance with pay-equity legislation
•    Manage the whole salary-review cycle
•    Participate in managing the group insurance and retirement programs
•    Evaluate jobs to ensure equity, both internally and externally
•    Participate in implementing and analysing KPIs for HR analytics
•    Complete various surveys and market studies
•    Participate in developing communications tools for total compensation programs to maximize impact and understanding
•    Ensure ongoing management of total compensation tools
•    Keep up-to-date with trends in total compensation to position the company appropriately compared to our reference markets
•    Contribute to the evolution of performance-management programs
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, actuarial science or any other relevant education
•    5 to 8 years of experience in total compensation
•    Experience in international compensation (asset)
•    Experience in evaluating jobs, market benchmarking and variable compensation
•    Experience implementing a human resources information system (HRIS) (asset)
•    Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel)
•    Analytical mindset, attention to detail and good judgement
•    Organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
•    Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team and in management
•    Demonstrated interpersonal skills
•    Bilingual (spoken/written) in French and English
