GIRO is known and recognized for the quality of its optimization algorithms. As a programmer analyst in the Algorithms team you will participate in improving the daily life of millions of users in public transport around the world. Your main tasks will be:

• Participate in all stages of the design and development of a wide range of software products: functional design, architecture, organic analysis and programming;
• Develop new functionalities in the applications;
• Participate in the improvement of existing algorithms through analysis, modeling and the development of new functionalities;
• Calibrate algorithms to meet customer needs;
• In order to guarantee a code and a quality system, you will be directly involved in software quality assurance (unit, functional, integration and performance tests);
• Like any good programmer analyst, you will be keen to maintain efficient documentation and participate in code reviews.

• University degree in an appropriate discipline (computer science, software engineering, operations research, computer mathematics, etc.)
• 0 to 5 years of experience
• Proven passion for programming
• Knowledge of Windows®, relational databases, object oriented concepts (C ++ language)
• Ability to communicate in French and English (oral and written)
