Job Description

Project implementation 

  • Provide support to our European customers in their business hours. 
  • Prepare or give training to clients on site or remotely. 
  • Participate in specification meetings with customers or remotely. 

Proof of concept 

  • Prepare the data and configure the application according to the test objectives and the client's needs. 
  • Make sure the algorithms run on the prepared data. 
  • Reproduce and analyze the client's current situation. Calibrate algorithms and produce solutions demonstrating significant savings where applicable. 

Support for the sales team 

  • Support certain commercial approaches, by personalizing the demonstration with data specific to the target customer. 
  • Participate in the promotion and sale of GIRO products and services through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations. 

Algorithm analysis, testing and calibration 

  • Based on the specifications, present the analysis documents that propose functional solutions. 
  • Configure, modify, test and document certain developments. 
  • Calibrate algorithms to meet customer needs. 
  • Reproduce and analyze the client's current situation. Suggest new solutions. 
  • Design and execute software tests 
  • Plan and schedule the tasks under his responsibility. Follow up on work to meet deadlines and budgets. 
  • Understand the new generic tools to optimize their applications at the customer. 

The position is in Germany for full-time remote work. 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bilingual: German/English. Knowledge of French is an asset. 
  • Knowledge of the field of public transport is an asset. 
  • University degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, urban planning, or other relevant fields. 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the labor market. 
  • Availability to travel regularly in Europe and occasionally in Canada.
