Your mission

We are looking for a resource person with excellent analytical skills and who is not afraid of systems and tools! Our rare pearl will be dedicated to employees and likes to juggle the most varied files, from the interpretation of an HR policy to the management of an international mobility file. You'll be at the forefront of welcoming and integrating new GIRO employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all administrative activities related to the life cycle of employees in Canada and abroad:
    • Ensure the logistics of welcoming new employees and departures
    • Introduce working conditions to new employees
    • Maintain employee records in the HR system
  • Acts as a resource person on the application and interpretation of HR policies by ensuring a general knowledge of the files.
  • Applying for work permits, scholarships and grants
  • Ensure data integrity in systems for the production of HR indicators
  • Filing and scanning documents
  • Drafting and sending internal press releases
  • Writing employment confirmations
  • Provide support to other members of the HR team
  • Acting as a liaison between payroll and human resources department
  • Ensure the administration, communication and monitoring of employee benefits (group insurance, pension plan, etc.).
  • Support salary review activities

Qualifications

  • College diploma in management, specializing in human resources, administration or other related fields.
  • Any combination of education and experience deemed relevant may be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Member of the Ordre des CRHA (asset)
  • Mastery of the MS Office environment.
  • Knowledge of Quebec labour laws.
  • Knowledge of labour laws in France and Germany would be an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of French and English.

  • You are rigorous, autonomous, have initiative, versatility and an excellent sense of organization.
