To strenghten our Event Team, we are looking for a

Event Technician

based in Erlangen, Germany.

Your tasks:

• You will evaluate technical and content-related requirements of event-related projects.
• At the event location, you will set up stage and exhibition constructions under supervision, install lighting, projection and sound systems as well as control and IT networks, set up media servers and provide the power supply.
• At events, you operate lighting consoles, sound mixing consoles and stage equipment under supervision and use projections and feeds.
• You are responsible for material planning and provision.
• You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of used material as well as for ordering spare parts and placing repair orders.
• You take care of logistics tasks.
• You support the team with special projects.
• You support the team in organisational processes/tasks.

What qualifications and skills do we expect from you?

• You have a high responsibility and are reliable.
• You are used to working independently.
• You have initial experience in the supervision of lighting, video and sound desks.
• You have initial experience in handling video cameras and a flair for good filming.
• You are aware of the often unusual working hours in the event industry and are prepared to deal with them with flexibility and commitment.
• You have a friendly, tidy and well-groomed appearance.
• You speak German fluently and can communicate well in English.

What would be a plus?

• You are interested in video games
• You have a CE truck driving licence
