To strengthen our Marketing team, we are looking for a

Stagehand

based in Chicago, Illinois.

You will closely work with the Marketing team and report to the Event Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and execute events (Farming Simulator League and others)
• Making sure that the events meet the expectations of the visitors, time and budget limits are met and plan/allocate the resources needed for their execution
• Oversee facilities as well as details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.

What qualifications and skills do we expect from you?

• Knowledge of the basic parts of and operation techniques for lighting, sound and video equipment
• Ability to move heavy options from one location to another
• Problem-solving ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment
• Interpersonal skills to interact positively with crew members, vendors and audience members
• Ability to use tools needed to build and strike sets
• Strong oral communication skills to work with other crew members
• Understanding of on-set and stage safety precautions
• Organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Handling issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems in stressful situations
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel to be on-site at events

What would be a plus?

• You have at least 2+ years experience in e-sports events
• You have a deep knowledge of Farming Simulator
• You are passionate about video games and an enthusiastic gamer
• You have a background in farming / have been working in a company related to farming / are very interested in farming and agriculture
