Job Description

The role of Software Asset Controller has the objective of ensuring General Dynamics Mission Systems UK is compliant from a commercial and legal perspective in the management, control, and distribution of software assets.

The software asset lifecycle will be your domain of experience and you will be heavily involved in End User License Agreement (EULA) reviews, Liaising with System Engineers and Project Managers on the use and distribution of software assets within their projects/programmes. You will also liaise, where appropriate with your counter parts in the UK MOD

Qualifications

To be successful in this role  you will have experience in software asset management (SAM) as well as software procurement and end-user license agreement (EULA) management

You would also bring:

  • Strong understanding of the software market place
  • Strong understanding of software licensing structures
  • Contract and Supplier Relationship Management skills
  • Commercial terms understanding
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills
  • Ability to works on complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills

Additional Information

The starting salary for this position is between £48,000 to £62,000 plus our benefits package.

We operate a hybrid working model so this role can be undertaken with time spent working from home and in our offices in Oakdale.
