Job Description
Do you have HR experience, and are you seeking a new position? General Dynamics Mission Systems UK is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner on a 12 month fixed term basis.
As an HR Business Partner, you will provide operational HR support to business lines, functional teams and departments. To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Provide proactive, responsive, high-quality generalist advice and partner support to business leaders
- Support in activities such as employee relations, absence and performance management, implementation and use of company policies and practices, reward and compensation, recruitment, talent management and succession planning and inclusion and diversity.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company processes and actively support business leaders in their responsibility for the management of people issues
- Take ownership of contributing to the creation and maintenance of a high performance culture and the development of leadership capability
- Build productive working relationships with the wider HR team in the UK and overseas.
Qualifications
To apply for this HR role, you will need to be CIPD qualified and have experience in a similar HR Business Partner/Generalist role in a complex, matrix environment.
You will also require the following:
- Broad knowledge of employment legislation and experience in HR policy development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Additional Information
Starting salary for this position is £40,000 to £50,000 (dependant on experience) and excellent flexible benefits.
This position is a flexible Hybrid working position with time spent working from home and at our offices in Oakdale.
This role is a 12 month fixed term position due to maternity leave cover.
