GCS Malta is seeking a DevOps / Implementation Engineer to work with one of Malta’s leading tech companies. The chosen individual will be responsible for managing the integration and deployment systems, investigating and resolving technical issues, as well as supporting the implementation of solutions at customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the integration and deployment of systems
• Investigating and resolving technical issues
• Deploying updates and fixes
• Designing procedures for system troubleshooting
• Liaising with various departments
• Supporting the implementation of solutions at customer sites
• Providing support with test activities

If you are in possession of a Degree in Software Engineering and/or a Computer Science qualification with previous working experience within a similar position, then this one’s for you!

Sound knowledge of VM technologies, Microsoft server and/or Linux operating systems is considered an asset. Experience creating build configurations and pipelines, administering version control systems, orchestration platforms, using provisioning tools and scripting libraries, using configuration management tools, as well as cloud technologies is considered an asset.

One must be pro-active and possess strong communication and organisational skills. The individual must also be capable of working to tight deadlines and within a team-oriented environment.

Fluency in the English language is considered a must. Knowledge in any additional languages is considered a plus.
