GCS Recruitment are looking for a Senior Android Developer to work with one of the leading financial companies in Malta.
 

Responsibilities:

·       Creating and building advanced applications for the Android platform

·       Liaising with various teams to implement, design and introduce new features

·       Collaborating with other IT specialists to create optimum software

·       Conducting unit-test code for robustness, functionality, as well as to ensure general reliability

·       Configure any possible bugs and enhance application performance

Requirements:

·       BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar subject

·       Experience in software development and Android app development

·       Have published at least one original Android app

·       Experience using Android SDK

·       Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

·       Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

·       Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

·       Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
