2nd Line Support/System Administrator - Manchester City Centre

Job Description

I have an immediate requirement for a 2nd Line Support/System Administrator.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small IT team for a nationally recognised company based in Central Manchester.

You will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading a range of technologies This will include maintaining services and responding to support requests, as well as the development of new systems and services.

The role

As a Systems Administrator you will be expected to:

  • Administer the companies support systems
  • Diagnose and resolves IT support issues working to set SLA’s
  • Undertake project work
  • Work with suppliers and key stakeholders to deliver company IT initiatives

Who we need:

  • Someone with a University degree and/or IT qualification (Microsoft Fundamentals/Associate or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT service desk or similar environment
  • Ability to support end user hardware and software
  • MS Server, networking and system admin experience
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Windows 10
  • Driving Licence
