Support Analyst - Grimsby
Job Description
I have an immediate requirement for a Support Analyst for my client based in Grimsby. Work for a nationally recognised client, this is an important need to be filled as soon as possible.
Objective:
Reporting to the head of IT, this role will form part of a small in-house IT Support Team. The IT Support Team provides both maintenance and new releases to existing applications used by the business as required.
Responsibilities:
1.Embed a robust help desk support service to the business with the appropriate IT tool
2.Support in resolving help desk calls
3.First port of support for the phone systems
4.First port of call for building PC’s / connecting printers / Setting up new mobiles
5.Document both existing and new IT support processes.
6.Working with the business to provide support in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
7.To carry out work safely in the interests of other employees and themselves, in compliance with current legislation and Company Health & Safety procedures.
- To undertake any reasonable request as directed by your Line Manager.
Key Skills:
Understanding of help desk\customer support
Basic knowledge of IT in general, including Microsoft Operating Systems, Applications, Networking, Mobile Technologies
Basic understanding of phone systems
Proficient in use of MS Office systems
