Duties and Responsibilities: 
- Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
- Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Create, document, and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
- Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
- Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
- Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
- Provide Engineering with manufacturing/production input to develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards
- Work with Engineering to maintain accurate drawings and Bills of Materials
- Interact with vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts
- Design, develop, and implement quality control training programs
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed
- Identify training needs

- High attention to detail
- Excellent organization skills with ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Demonstrated knowledge of production and execution of work instructions
- Experience in developing and documenting procedures
- Experience in ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality Management Systems
