G-Force Powered by Founders Factory and backed by successful tech entrepreneurs - we're launching a global pre/seed investment program. Our mission is to help founders build globally successful green-tech companies that help reduce global greenhouse gas emissions. We help mission driven green-tech founders with cash investment, non-equity financing, product-market fit, business model, strategic partnerships, media coverage, introductions to top VC and strategic investors, etc. 

As our first Venture Lead for this Program, you are ultimately responsible for identifying and refining areas where sustainability/climate-tech could make a significant impact on reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions, analysing the eco-system and identifying promising early stage sustainability/green-tech startups to invest in. We are looking to invest in 8-10 startups per year. This role is focused on identifying, analysing and helping to secure pre/seed investments into the best sustainability and climate-tech startups globally. 

The candidate needs to have angel or early stage VC investing experience, a passion for sustainability, great understanding of technology, business models, have a solid network and exposure to the world of sustainability, climate-tech and green-tech. Having a broad network and being able to grow it by connecting with key sustainability stakeholders of early stage entrepreneurial hubs will give you a competitive advantage in this role. We are supported by successful entrepreneurs and we look for candidates that are entrepreneurial and mission driven.

Responsibilities 

• Identifying and refining key areas where climate-tech might end up making a significant impact on reduction of global greenhouse gas emissions.
• Analysing the entrepreneurial and startup ecosystems, identifying key stakeholders and establishing a network of trusted advisors, connectors.
• Identifying mission driven founders and sourcing promising startups and investments for the pre/seed sustainability programme.
• Have the ability to track down promising early pre/seed stage startups, grow high quality sourcing leads, build a network of deal-referring founders, angel investors, VCs, incubators, universities, business schools, etc.
• Be able to explain our global mission and secure interest in our program when meeting promising founders and startups.
• Build a system for designing, tracking & reporting of dealflow projects.
• Analysis of both inbound and outbound applicants.
• Drive continuous review and calibration of dealflow assessment parameters. 
• Share learnings across the programme and companies facing similar challenges.

• Ability to present findings into a clear thesis consolidating mass data into digestible insights.
• Understand the early-stage startup ecosystem deeply: key stakeholders, entrepreneurs, startups, earlier stage investors and competitive landscape. 
• Be familiar with the world of sustainability so that you can identify emerging trends and spot valuable investment opportunities in this fast evolving sector. 
• Be comfortable with using expert analytics and data analysis tools.
• Be organised, structured, process oriented, data focused and results oriented.
