We are seeking an experienced Senior Chemist. This role is a senior level position and requires 7 + Years of experience. You will need to have a strong background in materials science especially in the areas of elastomers, ceramics, plastics, and composites. The following essential skills are a must in any potential candidate; formulation, molding, extrusion, specification, qualification. Additionally, the selected candidate will have to display strong skills in product design, prototyping, and testing of electromechanical systems. Our ideal candidate will also have experience in the medium and high-voltage electrical industry.

This position will support the development of new products and will be a key team member supporting selection, specification, formulation, and qualification of best in class materials required to maximize product performance.

This position will also be responsible for building advanced understanding of materials and process technologies that will drive future new product development to successful commercialization.

Job Requirements:

-Must hold a BS or greater in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science / Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited university, and 7+ years directly related experience required.

-Proven track record of bringing quality products to market on-time and within budget.

-Formulating, designing, prototyping, building, and evaluating insulating structures and components to enable new product concepts

-Participating in cross-functional new product development project teams supporting the commercialization of medium voltage electrical products for the utility market.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,988.00 to $115,000.00 /year
