Role Scope

The Country Merchandiser will be responsible for executing merchandising strategies across assigned retail locations to ensure maximum product visibility, availability, and compliance with brand standards. This role plays a vital part in supporting sales growth by maintaining strong store-level execution and ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and retail operations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement merchandising standards and ensure proper product placement in retail outlets.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock shortages.

  • Ensure compliance with planograms and brand guidelines.

  • Conduct regular store visits to assess execution quality and competitor activity.

  • Support promotional campaigns, activations, and product launches.

  • Maintain strong relationships with store managers and retail partners.

  • Prepare structured field reports highlighting performance insights and improvement areas.

  • Provide market feedback to sales and management teams.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in merchandising, retail execution, or FMCG distribution.

  • Strong understanding of the UAE retail market (modern trade & traditional trade).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and reporting abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple store visits.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Valid driving license (preferred).
