Job Description

Position Overview

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and possess a high level of written and verbal communication skills. You will be experienced working in a time sensitive deadline-driven environment, where multi-tasking, focus and clarity are essential. You are service focussed, proactive and take responsibility for your work, you are adept at facilitating outcomes from varying technical and artistic disciplines across consecutively run projects.

Ideal candidates will have extensive visual effects departmental experience, having previously supported teams delivering high quality assets. Key to our project success will be your ability to coordinate and track the progress of wide-ranging tasks across multiple shows, with a high delivery frequency. You should have a thorough understanding of how to create and set project milestones within approved schedules. Bringing your solid work ethic, you will be instrumental in ensuring quality work continues to be delivered to all internal stakeholders, through to clients.

Responsibilities


  • Seek input from Line Producer/Production Managers & Supervisors to create and set project milestones & deliveries.
  • Work closely with heads of departments to assign tasks and briefs.
  • Coordinate and track the progress of deliverables and targets.
  • Resolve any impasse between your team, departments, and resources, communicating resolutions, as necessary.
  • Accurately update and maintain detailed, up-to-date data through database tracking software Shotgun.
  • Maintain strong project knowledge across multiple shows.
  • Attend team and client briefing sessions, taking accurate notes and quickly communicating outcomes to your team.
  • Work with the Editorial department to ensure the successful delivery of work to the client.
  • Look ahead to upcoming show delivery requirements, meeting with show leads ensuring crew is briefed accordingly.
  • Remain proactive ensuring nothing is overlooked.

Qualifications

Required skills and experience


  • Minimum 2 years feature film VFX experience.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Accurate note taking and database entry skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Solid Shotgun experience.
  • Experience in scheduling complex and multi-faceted projects . MS Project desirable but not necessary.
  • Proactively problem solve.
  • Willingness to learn the VFX production pipeline.
  • Able to work in multiple OS environments, with command line experience desirable but not necessary.
