Job Description

FuseFX is seeking a talented Data I/O Coordinator with a background in post-production to join our creative team in Atlanta, GA! 

The Data I/O Coordinator is responsible for gathering, logging and dispersing material to support the various departments at FuseFX. The applicant will be expected to review and verify the accuracy of information, prepare reports and manage data storage to and from our internal network. Applicants must have strong communication skills as this position requires significant collaboration with all departments. All of FuseFX’s technical roles involve both technical and interpersonal components, ensuring systems are technically sound while maintaining open communication both within the department and with production teams. This role also includes maintaining and managing the company’s filming and storage inventory.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain the influx and output of all materials relevant to our projects

  • Log, track, QC, and communicate with production teams all materials related to our projects

  • Archive and de-archive responsibilities

  • Assist in upkeep and maintenance of our servers

  • Maintain, track, handle inventory for all filming and storage equipment

  • Troubleshoot data and communicate effectively to Producers, Supervisors and VFX Editors

  • Collaborate with several departments on strategies to help manage data

 

 

Qualifications

Traits of a Data I/O Coordinator


  • Experience in post-production environment, preferably in VFX

  • Ability to work under rigid deadlines and schedules

  • Excellent communicator

  • Strong multi-tasker, with experience with organizing and managing multiple priorities

  • Detail oriented

  • Basic knowledge of Mac and Windows

  • Programming language skills, a plus
