Job Description

As our Financial Analyst Fellow, you will be providing excellent hands-on support for our portfolio companies. These will be your primary obligations:

  1. Tracking and monitoring the financial performance ratios of our portfolio companies

  2. Analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts and predictive scenarios

  3. Assist in the Monthly/Quarterly Revenue Reporting close and planning process 

  4. Provide weekly financial reports to assist the Venture Partner teams in making tactical and strategic decisions

  5. Design and manage financial models for our portfolio companies

  6. Prepare valuation reports for our portfolio companies

  7. Design Term sheets, Cap Tables and Fundraise agreements

  8. Designing investment memorandum and pitch decks

  9. Detailed and extensive research work 

General Requirements

 

  1. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, curious, proactive and asks questions - both of management and of themselves – and seeks to understand the context of their role in the wider organization. 

  2. The successful applicant will be ambitious, career-focused with a keen desire to learn and absorb increasing responsibilities. 

  3. Have effective oral/written communication skills and presentation skills 

  4. Power-user in MS Excel, Google Sheets and presentation tools

  5. Studying or desire to study CIMA, ACCA certification preferred 

Qualifications

  1. Undergraduate Degree; Accounting/Finance degree preferred but not required 
  2. 0-2 years of post undergraduate experience 

  3. Proficiency in MS-Office Suite and Google Docs

  4. Attention to detail

  5. Sound thought process

  6. Excellent Research Skills
