The Flying Dachshund is thrilled to be expanding our team to include our first ever Employee Engagement Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of HR, our Employee Engagement Coordinator will apply their love of people, nerdery for numbers and wily creativity to create a positive, supportive, and diverse work culture that our employees are proud to represent. Being a trailblazer in your role, we are looking for someone with a true heart for people who believes in the power and meaning behind their work, and who isn't afraid to create new concepts and ideas. 

 Tasks for the Employee Engagement Coordinator may include:

• Analyzing employee feedback from quarterly surveys
• Creating employee survey data visualization, reports, and recommendations
• Updating Company Slack Channel with daily celebrations including birthdays work anniversaries, and employee recognition 
• Responding to the company "Bark It Out" Slack Feedback Channel and anonymously reporting concerns to HR Director 
• Assist HR Director with updating data in Performance Management Software (Lattice) 
• Keep our employees up to date on new announcements, menu/price changes and other important updates on our "Dachshund Daily" Newsletter 
• Contribute fresh ideas to expand the scope of our Employee Engagement and Satisfaction efforts 

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• An empathetic, people-oriented mindset
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel including sorting, filtering, pivot tables and data visualization
• Mad organizational skills to track tasks, dates, and ideas
• Working knowledge of Slack
• Creative problem solving abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Previous experience with designing and creating reports
• Strong communication skills including providing and receiving feedback, active listening, and sharing of personal ideas (Seriously... we really want to hear them!)
• Respect and enthusiasm for each employee and the ability to recognize their unique experiences, viewpoints, and contributions

Additional Skills To Stand Out As "Top Dog"

• Experience with MS Publisher
• Previous experience in an HR/People Operations role
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting feedback data 
• Experience with summarizing meeting notes
• Previous experience using Lattice 
• Love of dogs helpful...They'll be around!

Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour/40 Hours per week

Full Time Employees are eligible from Day 1 for:
