Job Description

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Analyst supports monitoring and improvement activities that ensure system accuracy and data integrity.  Assists management through analysis and reporting of data from process audits, cycle counts, physical counts and location audits.  Monitors execution of key processes that affect accuracy performance.  Provides detailed analysis inventory discrepancy root causes to support focused process improvements.

Desired Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses

·       Two year degree in supply chain related field is desirable.

·       APICS CPIM certification.

·       Experience with AS400 ERP system.

·       Familiarity with MS Visio application.

·       Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment.

·       Technical writing skills for procedures and training materials.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Certifications / Licenses

·       Associate Degree.

·       Less than 2 years’ experience.

·       Work experience in a manufacturing environment.

·       Familiarity with inventory management best practices.

·       Experience with common inventory control systems (cycle counting, physical counts).

·       Experience with MRP/ERP business management system software.

·       Capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.

·       Ability to maintain effective business relationships with stakeholders in all areas of operations.

·       Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.

·       Basic to intermediate SQL skills.

·       Proven problem solving abilities and analytical skills.

·       Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
