Job Description
What your weeks are going to look like
- Daily Scrum-style meetings with the project’s development team;
- Actively participate in testing sessions;
- Document discovered bugs and the steps to reproduce them in the bug-tracking tool;
- Track issues to confirm bugs and work with the development team to prioritize fixes;
- Document and publish test procedures and results;
- Provide constructive feedback on the quality and “fun factor” of assigned content;
- Ensure that games meet or exceed the company’s and the client’s quality standards.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or combination of relevant studies (computer science, multimedia, web, video game, etc.);
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in quality assurance in the video game industry (an asset);
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of the different types and platforms of games as well as the steps involved in creating a game;
- Good general computer knowledge;
- Technical knowledge of consoles and manufacturers' requirements (an asset);
- Knowledge of Jira (an asset);
- Basic knowledge of programming (an asset);
- Good ability to communicate both orally and in writing, in French and English.
