Freshworks is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Manager for our Email Lifecycle
Marketing Team. This individual will lead our efforts in creating and optimizing email
marketing campaigns, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance segmentation,
personalization, and overall campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in email marketing, experience with AI technologies, and a passion for driving
customer engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage the Email Lifecycle Marketing Team:
o Oversee the planning, development, and execution of email marketing
campaigns across various stages of the customer lifecycle.
o Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for team
members.
AI-Driven Segmentation and Personalization:
o Utilize AI and machine learning technologies to create advanced segmentation
strategies.
o Develop personalized email content that resonates with different customer
segments to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
o Design and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with
business goals.
o Ensure timely and accurate delivery of email campaigns, including
promotional, transactional, and automated lifecycle emails.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
o Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance metrics such as
open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
o Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing, segmentation analysis,
and leveraging AI insights.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
o Work closely with product, sales, customer support, and other marketing teams
to ensure cohesive messaging and customer experience.
o Collaborate with the data science and AI teams to integrate advanced
technologies into email marketing strategies.
Compliance and Best Practices:
o Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and
best practices, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
o Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in email
marketing and AI.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a
plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) in email marketing, with a focus on lifecycle
marketing.
Experience leveraging AI and machine learning for email segmentation and
personalization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven
decisions.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Mailchimp) and
AI tools.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with A/B testing and email performance optimization techniques.
Knowledge of email marketing regulations and best practices.
