We are looking for an exceptionally skilled and experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of our revenue accounting processes. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Revenue Accounting team and ensure the accuracy of data and reports. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison among various Finance departments as necessary. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage ad-hoc reporting and projects to support corporate initiatives
• Support Revenue team related to day-to-day revenue tasks - both from an accounting and operations perspective 
• Maintain internal controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with the company's revenue accounting process, conformance with SOX Policies and ASC 606
• Responsible for managing revenue-related support provided to internal and external auditors for all related testing 

Ongoing Projects: 

• Work with our teams in India on data analysis projects and issues that come up impacting month-close
• Understand upstream data flows, working alongside India teams to speed up project work (follow the sun approach)/ deep analysis that informs decision-making 
• Identify and escalate issues as they arise. Adopt a solution-oriented approach/ facilitate meetings to get buy-in on the next steps and execute with a focus on timelines
• Support 'out of the box' thinking/ simplify workpapers with a focus on mitigating risks in reporting

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3 days/ week (Tue-Thur) from our San Mateo, CA (HQ). 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• 5+ years of related experience 
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and related accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines, while prioritizing competing workloads
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks, analyze complex data, and provide practical recommendations
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

California Pay Range: $150,000 - $210,000. Please note that this role is inclusive of base+bonus. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
