Overview of the Role :

We are seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to optimize our apps for iOS devices, ensuring they deliver exceptional user experiences. Your role will entail prioritizing intuitive design and aesthetics to enhance usability and provide our app users with top-notch experiences.

Responsibilities

• Understanding Business Needs and Technology: Start by comprehensively understanding the business requirements alongside relevant technological aspects.

• Identifying Impacts Across Levels: Assess and acknowledge impacts on both technical and functional levels to ensure a holistic understanding of the project.

• Milestone-oriented Approach: Break down the requirements into manageable milestones to facilitate effective project management.

• SWAG Estimation: Use SWAG (Sophisticated Wild-Ass Guess) estimation technique to provide initial, high-level estimates for project scope.

• Technical Solution Definition: Define feasible technical solutions while highlighting potential limitations, necessitating proof of concepts (POCs) if required. System design specifications may be drafted if the task demands it.

• User-Story Based Milestones: Decompose each milestone into well-defined user stories for granular task management. Utilize bottom-up estimation to derive engineering ETA for each user story, enabling effective timeline planning.

• Development Workflow Fundamentals: Proficient in Git for repository management and branching strategies, with expertise in GitHub features for streamlined code management.

• Mobile Development Skills: Advanced iOS framework knowledge (SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation) and integration proficiency (Firebase, Heap), alongside familiarity with Go programming is a plus.

• Security and Compliance Awareness: Experienced in implementing app security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards like GDPR and HIPPA.

• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in utilizing debugging and performance analysis tools (Charles Proxy, LLDB, Instruments) and proficient in code review practices for ensuring quality and security.

• Programming Skills and Development Practices: Proficient in Swift/Objective-C syntax, build tools (Xcode, Fastlane), and adept at applying OOP principles, design patterns, and architectural patterns in development workflows.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience will be considered.

Should possess 7 to 10 years of experience in iOS native mobile app development, demonstrating a strong grasp of iOS architecture and frameworks, with proficiency in Objective-C and Swift (Preferred).
