Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workday HR Business System Analyst to join our dynamic team in Chennai, India. As a key member of our HR technology team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR processes, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting Workday solutions.

Responsibilities:

Workday System Configuration

● Configure and customize the Workday HCM system to meet the organization's HR requirements.

● Hands-on experience on any two Core HR, Absence, Time tracking, compensation modules with Compensation are preferable as one of the modules.

● Implement and maintain business process configurations, security settings, and integrations within Workday.

System Optimization

● Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.

● Analyse current HR processes and propose innovative solutions to maximize the effectiveness of the Workday system.

User Support and Training

● Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing system-related inquiries

and issues.

● Develop and conduct training sessions for HR and other relevant teams to

ensure efficient and effective use of the Workday system.

Data Management

● Manage data integrity by conducting regular audits and implementing best

practices for data governance.

● Work on data migration and integration projects to ensure seamless flow of

information across the organization.

Reporting and Analytics

● Design and generate customized reports and dashboards to support HR and decision-making.

● Utilize Workday reporting tools to extract and analyze HR data for various stakeholders.

System Upgrades and Maintenance

● Stay informed about Workday updates, releases, and new features.

● Plan and execute system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum utilization  of new functionalities.

Collaboration

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that align with organizational goals.

Compliance and Security

● Ensure that the Workday system is in compliance with relevant data protection and security regulations.

● Monitor and address any security vulnerabilities or risks related to the Workday system.

Qualifications

● Total experience of 5-8 years

● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

● Proven experience as a Workday HCM system analyst, with in-depth knowledge of Workday configuration and customization.

● Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

● Experience with data management, reporting, and analytics within the Workday platform.

● Knowledge of relevant data protection and security regulations.

● Workday certification is a plus.
