Job Description

About the role: 

The integrated marketing team at Freshworks is responsible for centralizing demand generation campaigns across the marketing organization. At our core, we’re ‘Campaign Orchestrators’. We connect the dots between cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop ‘go-to-market’ and creative strategies for Global Marketing Campaigns. With a focus on generating data-backed insights to bolster our campaign messaging and GTM strategy, we’re looking for an individual to help us boost our creative strategy. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, analytical & data-driven and possesses a flair for creative storytelling.

What You’ll Do/Complexity

  • Conduct extensive surveys of customers and cross-functional internal teams to surface insights on buying behavior, pain points, product adoption, market trends and content consumption behaviors. 
  • Work closely with marketing agencies, influencers and vendors to craft and test world-class marketing messages.  
  • Develop creative briefs for ad collaterals (banners, landing pages, infographics, videos, podcasts, emails, webinars, 3rd party platforms etc.) in collaboration with the centralized content, design, GTM and website operations teams, among others.   
  • Support GTM strategy initiatives and develop new campaign initiatives to meet overall campaign and business objectives. 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing or sales roles in B2B organizations. 
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in any field 
  • Prior experience crafting and executing marketing messages and campaigns. 
  • Proficient with GTM strategies, digital marketing channels and latest trends in the market. 
  • Basic understanding of SasS tools, buyer personas and customer psychology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills - You love working with a large group of global stakeholders.
  • Highly curious and a quick learner. You love researching on diverse topics and possess a growth mindset. 
  • The ability to turn insights into stories - You can quickly shift gears from analytical to creative thinking. 
  • Results driven. You love to measure the business impact of your work. 
  • A point of view on the kind of messages that will resonate with B2B SaaS buyers. You’ll get a chance to A/B test your hypothesis. 
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like PowerBi (optional). 
  • Experience working with a creative agency or market research agency is a bonus, though not required.
