Job Description

Please note: this role will be based in Bellevue, WA and requires an in office presence.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Growth Marketing Manager - Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) to join the Revenue Growth team at Freshworks. This is a great opportunity to introduce, build, and scale a new practice at Freshworks. The ideal candidate will drive Marketing ROI by improving visitor acquisition and conversion rates across the web journey for all products. You have built CRO programs for high-volume operations, either ecommerce or PLG businesses, and are experienced in simplifying and articulating experimentation outcomes to executives.  You will lead a team comprising a web developer and UX designer and work closely with the Experimentation and analytics team to test and improve the performance of all web acquisition journeys. You will focus on managing test idea intake and prioritization, driving requirements for test development, and managing test execution, results analysis, and reporting.

What you’ll do at Freshworks:

  • Own and manage web experiment roadmap at Freshworks
  • Be accountable for the website's primary transactional metrics, including web conversion rate, incremental lead volume, lead quality, and revenue
  • Build a culture of experimentation, being able to break down an opinion into hypotheses and key performance indicators
  • Leverage behavioral analytics, user research & surveys, and competitor research to audit journey paths, identify gaps in the conversion funnel, and launch experiments to improve conversion 
  • Build hypotheses, test and scale experiments by leveraging multiple levers - messaging, site copy, form parameters, call-to-action buttons, page templates, and more
  • ​​Partner with Growth Analytics to build hypotheses, run experiments, and communicate the effectiveness and results of each test while building out a hypothesis library for future knowledge sharing and test ideas
  • Build a QA practice to verify that all test variations are working as expected before a test launch and check early data post-launch to detect any issues
  • Partner with the Web experience team to communicate and align on sprint cycles and experimentation roadmap
  • Partner with Marketing Ops & Technology to ensure we have the right technology, accurate lead capture, and ingestion of data for lead generation 
  • Design and implement new experimentation processes and programs that enable the team to work more efficiently and in an agile manner to support the rapid growth of our web surfaces and the company as a whole
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing to leverage and guide the development of appropriate page templates and other web content artifacts
  • Analyze results and share learnings and insights with the rest of the company on an ongoing basis

 

    Qualifications

    We'd love to hear from you if you have:

    • 10+ years of experience leading conversion rate optimization in an enterprise organization
    • Strong understanding of the linkage between web experiments and business KPIs
    • Strong knowledge of UX research, A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other methodologies.
    • Experience building out CRO and experimentation programs with a focus on countervailing metrics
    • Ability to move between strategic planning and ideation, as well as hands-on execution
    • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Optimizely
    • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing channels.
    • You have demonstrable vanilla Javascript, HTML, CSS, and SQL knowledge and capabilities
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to identify new growth opportunities.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Additional Information

    Washington Pay Range: $164,000—$266,500 comprising an annual salary and incentive compensation.

    Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level. Bonus/equity may be available.
