Job Description
This role will be responsible for supporting the design and leading the execution of global and country-specific total rewards programs. This Senior Manager also serves as a subject matter expert for compensation and benefits for India and other APMEA countries.
- Support the Global Total Rewards leader in driving the Total Rewards strategy and philosophy for Freshworks to attract and retain top talent. Critical areas of focus include: job leveling, base pay, allowances, shift pay, variable compensation (annual bonuses and commission plans), equity, and benefits programs.
- Collaborates with and serves as a subject matter expert to HR Business Partners and functional managers on matters pertaining to compensation. Provide advice and counsel to HR Business Partners on promotion planning, job classifications and leveling and individual compensation decisions.
- Lead the execution of global compensation and benefit processes; for example, annual compensation planning, variable pay plan assignments, benefit renewals and equity administration.
- Lead / support global C&B projects like Job Evaluation, HRMS implementation and other new initiatives.
- Create policies and procedures for global C&B processes.
- Lead the preparation of material for monthly/quarterly reviews, compensation committee, board approvals, and compliance.
- Support M&A as they relate to Compensation and Benefits
- Develop effective analytics and metrics to influence program direction and monitor business impact and effectiveness.
- Evaluate external labor market conditions, internal growth projections, and analyze data to drive sound talent compensation decisions
Qualifications
- A minimum of 9+ years of experience in compensation required and some experience in benefits preferred.
- Knowledge and experience across the spectrum of broad-based total rewards and a general understanding of executive compensation administration
- Strong financial acumen
- Prior experience in working in multinational organizations and with virtual teams
- Senior-level Stakeholder management skills balanced with playing a very 'hands-on' approach for day to day work
- Ability to effectively translate complex information into clear and effective messages
- Highly collaborative, with ability to partner with multiple stakeholder
- Expert level of skills with Microsoft Excel
