Job Description

As a Senior Manager - Sales, you’ll be responsible and instrumental in managing our revenue growth for the Enterprise New Business in the  DACH region. You will manage all aspects of the sales process and Go to Market strategy. This role is quota-carrying with uncapped commission and plays an integral role in our growth plans across the globe. We are in the nurture and build mode, and with this comes a requirement for a growth mindset, can-do attitude and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the DACH 1st Line Sales Leadership Team
  • Work closely with the General Manager of the region in scaling the high-growth region and the Leadership Team
  • Manage sales operations for the New Business Sales Team in the  DACH region
  • Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams (business development, solution engineering,  customer success, etc.)  to ensure an aligned and effective overall go-to-market strategy
  • Implement local market plans and sales strategies to meet sales goals
  • Provide ongoing reporting and forecasting for your territory
  • Be an evangelist for the company's vision and values across the board, including presenting at conferences and events
  • Lead, manage and inspire a team of high-performing Account Executives (“hunters”), being responsible for their performance and growth
  • Act as a role model and cultural ambassador to ensure a great working environment
  • Identify, recruit and onboard top talent, continuously providing coaching and best-in-class training and development support for your employees
  • Use resources effectively, including MRE, Business Development, Pre-Sales, Support, Project Managers and Product Marketing Managers to meet your sales goals
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts when required

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5  years of experience in building and leading a sales team  within a SaaS environment in DACH region
  • You have a strong experience in working with Enterprise Customers
  • You speak fluent German and English (business professional)
  • You are an inspiring leader!  You have a desire to develop and lead your teams by example
  • You and your team consistently achieve and overachieve sales goals and targets
  • You are  an excellent communicator - you know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it
  • You are willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic
