Job Description

As the Director of Business Management, you will report to the Head of Corporate Strategy and play an important role in assisting the SVP of Strategy & Operations in executing strategic initiatives, managing key projects, setting goals and objectives, running and managing the function and ensuring organizational productivity and delivering results. You will be responsible for providing high-level support, strategic guidance, and leadership across the Strategy & Operations team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Head of Corporate Strategy and the SVP of Strategy & Operations to develop and implement strategic plans for the GTM Strategy & Operations function, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and oversee critical projects and initiatives, from inception to completion, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the SVP of Strategy & Operations and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective and timely communication. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
  • Operating Cadence: Design and implement the operating cadence of activities to allow SVP of Strategy & Operations to manage the various functions on the team such as Monthly or Quarterly Business Reviews, weekly Staff Calls, and cross-functional team engagement across Marketing, Sales, Support and Product Development.
  • Internal Events: Manage all aspects of internal events such as All Hands, Ask Me Anything, Leadership offsites, events or other internal team events.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining operations within the SVP of Strategy & Operations purview, driving efficiency across the organization.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize tasks and ensure the SVP of Strategy & Operations time is used effectively. 
  • Operational Rigor: prepare meeting agendas, ensure key discussion points, follow-ups and decisions are noted down, and that follow-ups are tracked and completed.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all matters.

 

Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week from our Bellevue, WA office. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and B2B SaaS organization.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and exercise sound judgment.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong leadership and executive communications skills.
  • Previous experience working with a senior executive

Washington Pay Range: $207,000 - $300,000 comprising an annual salary & incentive compensation. You may also be eligible for equity and additional generous company benefits.
