Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to join a fast growing, global, leader in the SaaS CX, CRM and EX (ITSM and ESM) space to lead and grow multiple teams across some of the most exciting and diverse countries in Europe.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- To grow and significantly outperform the market, in terms of sale and adoption of Freshwork’s best of breed SaaS based CX, CRM and EX (ITSM and ESM) solutions to the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments of the geographic markets, in question.
- Develop and execute the new business go-to-market strategy that drives broad adoption of Freshworks multi-persona products across the nordics region. Be responsible for delivering on important KPIs like hiring & retention, pipeline generation, quarterly bookings/revenue and growth targets.
- Partner with internal stakeholders, establish strong working relationships and secure internal alignment for the overall new business go-to-market strategy for the nordics region
- Further establish and develop relationships with relevant and senior customer stakeholders and other key executive decision makers in the nordics.
- Shape the future of our Sales organization for the nordics region by hiring, retaining, building, training and motivating a high performing sales team. Ensure that Freshworks is seen as a “top talent” destination, in the market.
- Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize Freshworks’ vision, values and brand across the board in the Nordic markets, through public events, interviews and published content.
- You will report to the VP, Sales and General Manager - Benelux, Nordics & Emerging Europe
Qualifications

- Experienced. At least 10+ years of relevant sales experience with at least 3 years experience of team leadership within a technical software environment
- Domain. You have experience of building and leading SaaS Sales teams. Higher Education is good to have
- Performer. Consistent overachievement of team and sales goals in a large geographic territory selling a technical product
- Excellent Communicator. You know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it
- Go-Getter. Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful
- Fluent in English and at least one nordic language; additional language skills are advantageous
Other Qualifications
- A leader with a proven track record in working in matrixed sales organisation recognised for its culture, as well as its results.
- A strong track record of sales & people management. management in both sales target attainment and people/team development.
- Experienced in new logo acquisition strategies and proven experience in working on mid- and longer-term sales cycles with ARR sizes of €50k and upwards, in a field sales capacity..
- Experienced in large B2B-software firms and familiar with all the best practices, ability to thrive in a fast-paced globally-dispersed work environment.
- Entrepreneurial driven personality, with a growth mindset, who is not only highly analytical and strategic but also creative, hands-on and a mover and shaker by nature.
- Team player and strong collaborator who is excited about managing and leading people from the front and comfortable with rolling up the sleeves to get things done
- Excellent relationship builder and public speaker.
- A strong understanding of how the pandemic has changed the business world; the willingness to anticipate & to respond quickly to rapidly evolving market demand.
- Strong time management and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
