Job Description

The Manager, Total Rewards Operations will ensure delivery of superior service to internal customers globally. This role will be responsible for supporting the Total Rewards COE in the implementation and administration of a comprehensive total rewards strategy and programs that will best represent Freshworks within the given market. This role may also be the global lead and/or process owner in regards to oversight and implementation of global or regional TR initiatives and programs. This role will manage and support all execution and ongoing administration aspects of the employee rewards program, including compensation, medical benefits, fringe benefits, work/life, retirement benefits and pay programs and policies. He or she will be responsible for providing input in the design phase to be used for evaluating and making recommendations on total rewards strategies to attract and retain talent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day operational activities of the team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Total Rewards programs
  • Coordinate across different teams to ensure workloads and deadlines are effectively managed
  • Global HR lead for annual compensation processes
  • In conjunction with HR Operations and IT participate in the implementation of system and process changes, quality controls and audit recommendations to ensure compliance with legislation, policies and procedures and continuous improvement.
  • Leverage HR metrics and data, including making recommendations for enhancements and preparing periodic global summaries and presentations for leadership review. Goal is to demonstrate the value of Total Rewards initiatives, support continuous improvement, and inform business decisions
  • Lead delivery of annual benefits enrollment processes
  • Ensure the confidentiality, security and integrity of employee rewards and data records in accordance with legislation and country specific policies and procedures
  • Partner with both global and regional Total Rewards COE team members and HR Business Partners to ensure coordination, alignment, and proactive issue management with regards to compensation, retirement benefits and health/welfare benefits
  • Evaluate products, vendors, and programs related to the Total Rewards process, including obtaining and consolidating input from regions when selecting global products

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related discipline required
  • 7+ years of HR experience overall; including at least 5 years in a total rewards and/or HR Operations-related role
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Office suite (notably Excel)
  • Knowledge of leading practices and trends in Total Rewards including compensation, benefits, and HR systems

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • HR Information System experience preferred
  • Presence to interact easily across all levels within the organization in a tactful, mature, and flexible manner
  • Ability to work successfully with and stakeholders in building, leading and contribute to a successful Total Rewards function across a complex, global organization
  • Ability to influence, partner, and develop productive relationships with COE partners and other parties to achieve necessary goals
  • Excellent financial / business acumen and analytical abilities
  • Experience in vendor management; selection of and negotiation with would be helpful
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to changing priorities and short deadlines
  • Self-starter with a proactive and inquisitive nature who can anticipate and pre-empt problems
  • Strong planning, organization, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Skilled in ethical decision-making and applying the principles of business conduct
  • Can be trusted to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service orientation

Additional Information

The annual OTE range for this position is $120,000 - $170,000+. Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills and level.
