The Global Marketing & Content Strategy team is part of the Customer Experience Group’s Strategy function in Freshworks, which is responsible for driving global initiatives across all Freshworks’ product lines, geographies, and customer bases and ensuring that the customer has the best experience with our brand.
Job Description
We're looking for a skilled content specialist to join our CXG Global Marketing & Content Strategy team who will work on increasing product adoption, creating an engaged customer base, and generating a sales pipeline through world-class content.
In this role, you will create in-depth and actionable content encompassing three aspects - product, domain, and persona. You will be marketing to our SMB, Mid Market, and Enterprise customers, which will require you to understand the pulse of the markets and how these businesses solve their challenges.
Responsibilities:
Use storytelling and emotion to bring technical & domain content to life and compel the reader into taking action.
Write compelling customer stories -- get to the bottom of stories, understand the use cases and stitch the business narrative together.
Produce high-quality whitepapers, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, surveys, interactive campaigns, and web copy consistent with our company’s tone and mission
Collaborate with product marketing, segment marketing, community teams, external influencers, and industry experts
Strategize and deliver on net new content initiatives to align with the overall product positioning in collaboration with product and segment teams
Own and execute the content calendar; work with our design and web teams to deliver on time.
Optimize content for different formats (SEO, blogs, infographics, etc.) and distribute across channels for better consumption
Continuously measure campaign metrics and optimize for higher engagement
Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels
Qualifications
5-8 years of content experience, preferably at a B2B software company. SaaS experience is a plus.
Has a way with words. Should be able to simplify and explain complex subjects easily
Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage your time, and juggle between multiple projects
The editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
Knows how to get stuff done. Makes work look fun. Master collaborator.
