Job Description
Are you interested in generating business impact for the largest business unit within Freshworks? The Demand Generation and Go-to-Market team is looking for a seasoned B2B Content leader to drive the strategy, planning, and execution of our global integrated campaigns which is a critical and significant driver of revenue for the business.
This role will lead the team responsible for creating and delivering content for campaigns across our market segments, target audiences, and portfolio. The ideal candidate strives to create opportunities to shape content into a moat for the business, owning everything from strategy to execution.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Go-to-Market Strategy and Demand Generation, as the Content leader, you will be responsible for leading a growing team of 4+ content marketers and partnering with freelance content marketing agencies. The candidate will develop solid working relationships with key stakeholders in Brand Marketing and Regional Campaigns to ensure Content is in line with the brand guidelines and is customized for key markets including North America, the UK, The EU, and APAC.
Responsibilities:
Develop the overall content strategy for each BU and accountability for high-velocity content assets - includes SEO, Blogs, copies and landing pages for Paid search ads, newsletters & Social media (Youtube, FB, Linkedin) in close coordination with Brand & Digital marketing (SEO) & Integrated marketing
Maintain a Quarterly calendar for campaign assets per BU - this includes ad banners (DV 360, Social, Paid search copies, Premium publishers), Ad copies (Conversational ads, Inmails, Leadership blogs), whitepapers, reports, emails, infographics etc.
Supporting Field marketing programs with speaker enrolment, panel prep, event & webinar decks (also done by Product marketing)
Key stakeholders - Integrated Marketing (per BU), Brand marketing (Web, Copy, Design), Digital marketing (SEO) and Product marketing (Product launch, competitive pages, and specific bottom of the funnel content)
Lead a team of 3 managers across CX, ITSM and S/M and an overall team of 14-15 individuals
Manage the development of long-form and short-form demand generation assets such as whitepapers, ebooks, emails, infographics, videos, and social ads to support campaigns
Partner with the brand team to ensure content strategy and delivery are aligned to brand guidelines and product positioning
Using the Campaign brief, which is the input document shared by Regional Campaign Leads, this individual recommends demand-focused content assets that capture regional insights to drive acquisition
Establish A/B testing processes to test creative design, content, cadence, and timing to improve performance
Measure and report on content performance to support ongoing optimization and make recommendations on how to improve program performance
Coach a team of content marketers to deliver outstanding performance
Partner closely with Regional campaign managers and digital marketing to ensure content strategy and delivery is aligned to brand guidelines, and product positioning and fulfills requirements from each region
Qualifications
10+ years of content marketing experience in fast-growing B2B SaaS businesses
Past experience in writing, content planning, campaigns, and production
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and project management skills
BA degree/Master’s degree preferred in marketing or business
Excel at cross-group collaboration, creative thinking, problem solving and have a bias for action
Motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business
Additional Information
This role will be remote and based in the USA. Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.
