Job Description

As the Internal Communications Manager you are the expert working for and with all departments and leadership teams to bring your best ideas to deliver meaningful content to employees. It’s because Freshworks is growing rapidly toward big goals as the global leader in business software people love to use!

Be an integral leader on the global Corporate Communications team and report to the director, Internal Communications to ensure we are shaping our employees’ experience. 

Roles and responsibilities 

  • Conceptualise and execute internal communications programs across multiple delivery channels to our 5,000 employees in over 13 countries – including our Weekly Newsletter, Employee Spotlights, Intranet and more! 

  • Coordinate stakeholders across different areas of the business and the company by maintaining a global calendar for Internal Comms.

  • Take an audience-first approach when creating high-quality content, across all internal digital channels and continuously improving and striving for excellence. 

  • Develop, write and edit communications for executives, including emails, FAQs, and presentations.

  • Plan and execute internal events, globally, including All Hands and our Ask Management Anything series.

  • Maintain globally consistent branding, standards and communications best practices,  collaborating on creative campaigns with the broader marketing team including social, employee brand, video and design.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills

 

  • Proven experience as communications specialist (Preferably 8-12 years of work experience in corporate communications, internal communications, marketing communications)

  • Experience in event management and content production for multi-channel events 

  • Experience in copywriting and editing

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill

  • Sound decision-making ability

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally

  • Ability to work on given timelines 

  • Detail oriented 

  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently

  • Good understanding of reputation management
