Who We Are Looking For:
The Director, Sales Strategy & Operations EU will be responsible for Sales Strategy and Operations for the European region, directly supporting the VP of EU and the senior management team. The Revenue Operations leader will foster an atmosphere of innovation, scale and continuous improvement within their team, inventing new ways of diving deep into data to uncover actionable insights for decision-makers and operational efficiencies.
This is a highly collaborative layered management leadership role working across Sales, Marketing, Partner, Customer Success, and the business to drive sales best practices, sales strategy, operating efficiencies, prioritize business needs and drive accurate forecasting. The role will report to the Global Director of Business Insights and Forecasting based out of the US.
Responsibilities:
- Direct ongoing assessment of business performance to support daily operations
- You will focus on optimizing sales efficiency by defining and implementing sales processes, standardizing operational workflows and tools, creating & documenting details of all aspects of the process, and driving consistency.
- Design and interpret key performance metrics. Deliver insights & recommendations
- Assist in developing and delivering presentations for senior executives
- Define and deploy excellent processes by understanding existing processes and improving/eliminating/redefining
- Drive automation to deliver speed and scale. Build business cases and define needs that scale and improves seller productivity and experience
- Drive positive and impactful change in the business from initiation of ideas, through to collaborative agreement, detailed execution and empathetic change management
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/ processes to fix root causes
- Prepare evaluations and recommendations for strategic decision
Qualifications
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in working for a SaaS organization
- Valuable work experience focused on quantitative analysis, Excel, and logical reasoning
- Track record of success leading people
- Strong problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions
- Self-starter and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand
- Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations
- Work experience in consulting, finance, or product management is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with SQL, Microsoft PowerBi, and/or Business Objects (or similar analytical packages) a plus
