Job Description

Job role:

Powering all our Freshworks products underneath the hood is our Freshworks Neo (Platform services) that focus on offering scalable, enterprise-grade, eco-system enabling foundational components like Identity & Security, Analytics, Marketplace, Search, Channels & Collaboration, etc.

We are looking for someone who can help us build these highly customizable, scalable, and composable platform components to prepare Freshworks for its next stage of growth. You will also collaborate with marketing, sales and support to ensure
that word gets out to people and they get to see what you are building.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead team in developing and implementing product vision and strategy.
  • Meet regularly with key customer facing teams to collect and analyse user feedback to shape new product ideas and user requirements.
  • Implements usage tracking and analyze patterns to validate new feature requirements and monitor feature adoption and usage.
  • Have strong solution skills in translating customer needs to product functionalities.
  • Work with the leadership team in planning the product roadmap.
  • Convert ideas to prototypes and demonstrate them to the key partners.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to plan and deliver features on time.
  • Stay on top of the market and competitions.
  • Act like an owner for the success of your product.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of working in global/cross functional software teams in a B2B software product company.
  • 4+ years of core product management experience in building features for developer facing or deep tech or B2B software products. Experience of having worked through various stages of scale is a plus.
  • Being empathetic and having a strong listening ability to understand the other person - may it be a customer or a stakeholder.
  • Ability to arrive at Intuitive & simplistic solutions. 
  • Ability to think through problems in a very abstract way is a must-have
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts/customer problems in a simple way to internal & external stakeholders and various skill levels like GTM folks, engineers, other product managers.
  • A track record of making day-to-day data-driven decisions in a fast-evolving environment while keeping an eye on the overall vision. 
  • Prior experience working as a software developer or experience product managing APIs or other technical components is a huge bonus.
