Job Description

A recruitment intern is an integral part of the recruitment process. As a recruitment intern, you will own the entire interview process by working closely with the Recruiters, interviewers, and candidates. Where a recruiter focuses on the overall interview process it is the coordinator's responsibility to facilitate the movement of candidates through the recruitment process. Here at Freshworks, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated candidate to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Be the go-to person for recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers as well as candidates.
  2. Responsible for scheduling, coordinating with interviewers and candidates to ensure interviews take place as per schedule.
  3. Quickly and effectively managing high hiring drives.
  4. Providing follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  5. Tracking recruiting activities and providing candidate status in a weekly report and updating the necessary tracker sheets.
  6. Communicate to candidates over email and phone the process and structure of the interview and the details of the interviews scheduled ( mode of interview, interviewer details, date-time venue,
  7. Ensuring to maintain effective turnaround time
  8. Identifying methods to improve the candidate experience and also scheduling efficiency.
  9. Update Applicant Tracking System (ATS) accurately and maintain an applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity and compliance.
    1. Support processing transactions within our Applicant Tracking System, including creating candidate records and updating requisitions, ensuring data in the system is always accurate

Qualifications

  1. You love working with people and have a customer service driven approach to problem-solving; you strive to make sure every interaction you have is upbeat, pleasant, and friendly

  2. You’re able to wear many hats at once and juggle competing priorities

  3. You have experience with coordination or scheduling and you love organization

  4. You’re confident in your computer skills, especially when it comes to Gmail, Google Calendar, G-Suite as well as MS Excel & PowerPoint.

  5. You’re a great communicator and are able to write clear and concise emails

  6. You’re confident in your decision-making skills and exercise good judgment (but also know when to ask for help)!

  7. You’re able to represent Freshworks professionally at all times

  8. Fluent written and oral communication skills in English. Any other EU languages are a plus - Ideally German/French.
