Freshworks is looking for an HR Manager to join its team in Europe. The position is based in Berlin. This individual contributor role would include broad responsibility across functions in a prominent leadership role of influence in the region.

Responsibilities:
You will own and support driving the people strategy for the EU. The role reports to the Head of HR EU
Lead and implement end to end HR Strategy, initiatives, processes, and priorities
Serve as a coach, HR consultant on all people topics and employment matters, thus partnering with Leaders and managers and enabling HR to scale
The role is expected to engage robustly with all COEs and ensure COE processes are executed in the EU region (Centre of excellence portfolios include- Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Learning & Development, Employee Wellbeing, Leadership Development) to provide counsel on a plethora of topics to the EU leaders and people managers
Represent the region in all global HR projects and ensure leveling up of HR processes
Own and spearhead Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in the EU region
Support your teams with data-driven recommendations that improve team effectiveness, build leader capabilities, and innovate improvements to the employee experience.
Lead all change management initiatives pertaining to people topics and facilities
You will have the opportunity to lead and participate in global projects such as building mechanisms to improve senior leadership development, drive inclusion diversity improvements, and workforce planning.
Build mechanisms and sustain momentum for robust Talent Management (Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, HiPo Development, and Executive Coaching) by partnering with the HRBP leader and OD
Qualifications
10 + years’ experience of operating at a senior HR level with demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a multi-site, high volume, fast-paced, customer-focused, hands-on environment and Tech space is an advantage
A Masters degree in Human Resources or related field is required
Fluency in spoken and written German and English
Strong knowledge of German Labour Law is a must. Broader knowledge of employment law of other European countries such as the UK, NL, and FR preferred
Demonstrated skill at influencing Sr. Leaders and pushing back to ensure a great employee experience.
Influencing skills and ability to effectively interface with senior leaders
Project management and execution skills – skilled in working asynchronously
Ability to dive deep, attention to detail, and follow-through
Understanding of all gamuts of HR partnering: Performance management, compensation and benefits, Learning & Development, Change management, organizational design, employee engagement, and Works council management
You have a data-driven approach to HR management without sacrificing culture and the unique work environment that Freshworks prides itself on.
Experience assessing management and executive talent
Coaching and consulting experience
Able to travel (including international), as appropriate
