Overview:

Digital Marketing is an integral part of Freshwork's marketing strategy. The growth of Freshworks as a company rests majorly on the ability of our digital marketing team to create interest in our products among potential customers. Given the stiff competition that exists in the SaaS business, digital marketing can have a huge impact on the top line of our company.

 

Role and Responsibility:

The primary objective of the digital marketing team is to facilitate the sales team through demand/ lead generation. The Freshworks websites are the biggest assets that the digital marketing team has and website conversion rate is a major variable that influences the lead volume. In this role you will lead the conversion rate optimisation efforts across products and across channels in Freshworks. This will require you to collaborate with a number of cross-functional teams, analyze data, build hypotheses, create an experiment calendar, execute the experiments and reach a conclusion on every problem statement. Along with your digital marketing, CRO and problem solving skills, your ability to engage, collaborate and project manage will be extremely useful.

 

  • Perform data analysis around web traffic, signups and other key metrics

  • Draw meaningful conclusions from data and identify potential opportunities for improvement

  • Create hypothesis and build an experiment plan

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data analytics, personalisation, content and UX changes for the experiments and implementations

  • Execute the cycles of Identify -> Hypothesize -> Test -> Conclude -> Implement in an agile manner

Qualifications

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Background in business, marketing, finance, economics, or mathematics

  • Understanding of digital marketing and CRO strategies and tools

  • Understanding of analytics tools and the ability to set up tracking/reporting mechanisms to capture key metrics

  • Measuring solutions backed with numbers should be a part of your DNA

  • Prior experience of project management and stakeholder management. Ability to collaborate will be critical.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills - effectively weigh the strengths and weaknesses of different solutions and approaches

  • Excellent judgment and decision making skills - effectively weigh the relative cost/benefit of actions

  • Should have the persistence to drill-down into problems until a solution is found.

  • Active listener – ability to process and understand the needs and goals communicated by stakeholders, and ask relevant questions

  • Excellent communicator - be able to explain complicated information effectively and patiently

  • Excel skills – familiarity with pivot tables and vlookups is a must  

  • Understanding of Agile Methodology will be a plus

  • B2B marketing or tech marketing experience is a bonus
