Job Description

As a Sales Manager for Freshworks, you’ll be responsible and instrumental in managing commercial, mid-market and enterprise revenue growth for the Emerging Europe region. You will manage all aspects of the sales management process and Go to Market strategy for the sales team. This role is quota carrying with uncapped commission and plays an integral role in our growth plans across the globe.We are in building mode and a growth mindset is required, the role you are hired for will develop going forward.

 

In this role you will report to the General Manager Benelux, Nordics & EE

 

Your role and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the General Manager of the region in scaling the high growth organization and setting up the first step in the 1st line management team and onwards

  • Manage sales operations for the Emerging Europe region, take responsibility for business development, revenue, cash, and profit & loss

  • Establish strong working relationships with various cross-functional leadership roles and partners to ensure an aligned and effective overall go-to-market strategy

  • Implement local market plans and sales strategies to meet sales objectives

  • Provide ongoing reporting and forecasting for your territory

  • Develop actionable insights, with a test and learn approach to new initiatives

  • Build relationships with decision makers and key influencers across multiple industries

  • Be an evangelist for the company's vision and values across the board, including presenting at conferences and events

  • Lead, manage and inspire a cross-cultural team of a range of roles 

  • Act as a role model and cultural ambassador to ensure a great working environment

  • Identify, recruit and onboard top talent, continuously providing coaching and best-in-class training and development support for your employees 

  • Use resources effectively, including MRE, BDR, Pre-Sales, Support, Project Managers and Product Marketing Managers to meet your sales goals 

  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products

  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care

  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts when required

Qualifications

  • Experienced.  At least 3 years’ experience of team leadership within a technical software environment

  • Domain.  You have experience of building and leading SaaS Sales teams.  Bachelor's Degree a requirement

  • Performer.  Consistent overachievement of team and sales goals in a large geographic territory selling a technical product

  • Excellent Communicator. You know what to say and more importantly, how and when to say it

  • Go-Getter.  Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful

  • Fluent in English and Russian/Polish/Czech; additional language skills are advantageous
