Job Description
The Role: As the Head of Performance Marketing, you will spearhead the performance marketing strategy for the group, encompassing but not limited to paid search, affiliate marketing and social media with overall responsibility for building and managing a customer acquisition strategy. You will lead a talented team of marketers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to fuel business growth, enhance brand visibility, and drive profitable sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering marketing results and efficiently managing substantial budgets.
The Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive performance marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives
- Overseeing budget allocation and bid management strategies to maximise ROI across paid search channels
- Overseeing the affiliate marketing program, nurturing relationships with partners and exploring opportunities for expansion
- Developing and implementing social media strategies tailored to each platform (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat) to engage with relevant audiences and drive conversions.
- Working closely with the SEO team to ensure a cohesive search strategy that maximises visibility and profitable conversions across search channels
- Collaborating with analytics team to measure, analyse, and report on key metrics, utilising insights to drive continuous improvement
- Developing and implementing an app marketing strategy
- Leading the development of financial forecasts for paid marketing activities, assessing potential sales growth, market share expansion and customer engagement levels.
- Spearheading the integration of paid marketing efforts with offline campaigns, ensuring a seamless omni-channel customer experience
- Leading, mentoring and growing a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Staying abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in a senior management role within digital marketing
- Proven track record of crafting and implementing successful performance marketing strategies
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in nurturing talent and driving performance
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of articulating vision and strategy at all levels.
- Quick to adapt to changes in the marketing, technology, and consumer behaviour, adjusting strategies and tactics to maintain competitive advantage
- Continuously seeks new and creative solutions to marketing challenges, embracing experimentation and risk-taking within strategic boundaries
- Approaches challenges with a solution-orientated mindset, applying creativity and critical thinking to overcome obstacles and improve outcomes.
