Our company was formed from two famous military tailors: Gieves, founded in 1785 and Hawkes, founded in 1771. Gieves became a celebrated supplier of the British Royal Navy and Hawkes of the British Army.

In 1974 Gieves acquired Hawkes and moved from the flagship store to Savile Row in 1975, to become known as Gieves & Hawkes

To continue our growth, we are now looking for a Trouser Maker at our flagship store, 1 Savile Row.

'Gieves and Hawkes are proud to offer a rare opportunity to join the bespoke tailoring team as a bespoke trouser maker. The position is full time, based out of our No1 Savile Row Store.  We are looking for a candidate which ideally has a minimum of ten years’ experience working as fully trained Trouser maker within the industry. The successful candidate will join our bespoke tailoring team becoming a vital part of the working process of bespoke.'

For this role we require a minimum of 5 years tailoring experience.
